"Alright, let’s check it out."
Besides, the female district looked far less crowded compared to the others.
Since it was an area reserved exclusively for females, males weren’t allowed inside, so the mates remained outside to wait for them.
The female district was enormous—not just a single building, but an entire section filled with all sorts of things.
After browsing several shops, Nina finally understood why it was called the female district.
A large portion of the items sold there were... tools and products meant for females to "discipline" or tease their mates.
Rosen looped her arm through Nina’s as they stopped before a display of strange fruits.
"Nina, have you and your mates ever tried Charm Fruit before?"
Nina shook her head. "No. What’s a Charm Fruit?"
Shania immediately bought a few and stuffed them into Nina’s pocket.
"Nina, you should definitely try them. They make things more exciting and are pretty fun to use."
Then, she and Rosen each grabbed several for themselves as well, giggling as they did so.
A moment later, Shania pointed toward another pile of golden-yellow fruits.
"Nina, do you want some Enhancement Fruit too?"
Nina instantly sensed danger. "What are they for?"
Shania lifted a brow mischievously.
"They increase a male’s stamina and endurance. Makes them last much longer."
Nina waved her hands frantically.
"No need!"
Her mates already lasted more than long enough. If they were to increase their endurance even more... She was scared there would be nothing left of her.
The longer they wandered, the redder Nina’s face became.
Outside, Yina finally realized her opportunity had arrived. She quietly whispered instructions to a nearby male. Then she glanced toward Idir.
Even though she knew what she was doing was wrong, she still wanted to try.
She couldn’t explain it. Ever since meeting him, she’d been unable to stop thinking about him. She’d spent the entire night wrestling with herself... yet still couldn’t give up.
The male she hired hesitated briefly before finally walking toward Idir.
Stopping in front of him, he lowered his voice.
"Idir, Lady Nina... Lady Nina sent word that she wants to see you in the small forest over there. At the seventh turn."
Suspicion flickered across Idir’s eyes right away.
And yet... He desperately wanted to believe it.
After a moment of hesitation, he still headed toward the forest.
Yina’s eyes brightened with delight when she saw him go. She immediately slipped into the woods after him.
Meanwhile, Nina and the others had nearly finished shopping. But when they attempted to leave, they discovered the main exit completely blocked.
A group of females was arguing loudly near the doorway, sealing off the entire path.
"Looks like we can’t get through," Shania sighed.
"Then I’ll go make them move," Rosen offered.
Shania quickly stopped her. "Forget it. Females in the middle of an argument never listen to reason. Don’t waste your time. Let’s just take the other exit and go around."
Rosen looked toward Nina. Nina nodded.
"Nina, tell your mates to wait for us near the forest exit instead," Rosen said. "We’ll have to pass through the woods anyway, and it’ll save us some walking."
"Alright."
Nina stepped into an unnoticed corner and used her communication crystal to contact her mates.
Shania stared at the crystal in complete shock.
A crystal that allowed live communication... Nina truly possessed countless treasures. That thing had to be incredibly expensive.
After contacting them, the group exited through the alternate route.
A short while later, they entered a quiet grove.
But only moments after stepping inside, Nina suddenly froze.
There were beastmen kissing everywhere.
And not just one pair. Several couples were tangled together throughout the woods.
Nina blinked in surprise.
"Mother... what kind of place is this?"
Why did this place feel so strange?
Rosen chuckled knowingly.
"Nina, this is Lover’s Forest. Many males and females who meet at the festival and take a liking to each other come here for private rendezvous."
She lifted a brow teasingly. "And when lovers meet in private... naturally things happen."
Nina coughed awkwardly. "I see..."
On the other side of the forest, Idir arrived at the agreed meeting place. But instead of Nina, he found the back of an unfamiliar female.
Hearing his footsteps approach, Yina steadied her nerves and turned around.
"Idir."
The temperature around him instantly dropped.
"Why are you here?" he demanded coldly. "Where’s Nina?"
"There is no Nina," Yina admitted softly. "I’m the one who asked you here."
She gathered her courage and looked directly into his eyes.
"I... I’m a noble female of the merfolk clan. I also possess high fertility. My mates are all powerful males."
She took a small step closer.
"I’m willing to bear your children. I can also help increase your strength. Will you become my male?"
The conditions she offered were incredibly generous. No unattached male could possibly resist such temptation. She didn’t even treat her own mates this well.
But rage ignited instantly in Idir’s eyes. "You dared to deceive me?"
His voice was terrifyingly cold.
It wasn’t Nina who had called for him. This strange female had lied to lure him here.
Nina had never asked for him at all.
Yina stiffened beneath the pressure radiating from him, but still forced herself to continue.
"I... I only wanted you to understand how good I could be to you."
Once he realized her value, surely he wouldn’t reject her anymore.
Idir’s fists clenched tightly as violent fury churned inside him. At that moment, he truly wanted to kill the female standing before him.
How dare she impersonate Nina and trick him?
Sensing his anger, Yina still gathered the courage to move closer.
"If you become my mate," she whispered softly, "I’ll treat you very well."
Then she took another step toward him.
And at that exact moment, Nina and the others suddenly appeared around the corner of the forest path.
They walked straight into the scene before them.
Idir froze the instant he saw Nina.
