The mood wasn’t joyful but rather heavy as she connected the events that had occurred during this time...
Faye Turner returned to The Lockwood Villa; Joy’s birthday party was still ongoing, and everyone was in no hurry to go home.
Being invited by The Lancaster Family was, in fact, an honor.
However, the ceremony had ended, and everyone was now in a relaxed state, some swimming in the open-air pool, some playing chess, and some sipping wine and chatting...
Standing in the meticulously arranged garden, lush with green grass, Faye’s gaze penetrated the crowd and quickly found Adrian Lancaster.
He was dressed in a custom-made suit, holding a wine glass, and talking and laughing softly with a middle-aged couple.
They appeared to be discussing a project. He was gentle and refined, handsome and charming, exuding a noble air that no one could imitate.
As she watched him, Faye’s nose tingled, thinking of how since her accident, he went through tremendous hardships to find her, even copying scriptures...
She was truly moved.
He loved her so much, yet she couldn’t remember him; how heartbroken must he have been?
She just couldn’t look away, until the couple he was talking with unintentionally turned and noticed her.
"Is Mrs. Lancaster back? This expression... is somewhat unusual."
The middle-aged woman softly reminded, "President Lancaster, your wife is back."
Adrian followed the woman’s gaze, sensing an unusual emotion in his wife, quickly withdrew his gaze, and said, "Sorry, excuse me." He then placed the wine glass down and swiftly walked toward his wife.
Once closer, he noticed tears in her eyes and affectionately wrapped his arm around her shoulder, "Honey, what’s wrong?" Not wanting the guests to notice anything amiss and start gossiping, he took her hand and led her towards the living room.
After entering the living room, Adrian didn’t let go of her hand but instead took her upstairs and, after entering the room, closed the door behind them.
Then clasping her shoulders with both hands, he bent down, looking at her with concern, "Honey, what happened?" He was anxious yet patient.
In this private space, he allowed her to be vulnerable.
Being asked by him like this, Faye’s nose became sore, and she threw herself into his arms and embraced his waist, "Adrian, I remember you now. I’ve recalled everything between us."
She tightly hugged him!
Adrian was stunned for at least five seconds!!! Then he became excited all over, reaching out to embrace her tightly.
Until ten minutes later—
Adrian released her, finding her face streaming with tears, he tenderly wiped her tears and softly comforted, "Don’t cry, sweetheart, I’m not upset at all, truly, I’m very happy!"
Embracing her again...
After calming her emotions, he led her downstairs.
Faye shared the wonderful news that Rachel Sherman had safely given birth to a pair of twins, making everyone happy for The Fletcher Family and feeling that Joy was a lucky star.
"Dear elders, friends, today I wish to share good news with everyone: my wife Faye has finally remembered me; her memory has returned!"
With his announcement, a smile appeared on Faye’s face, and The Xavier Family was the happiest, with Grandpa Lancaster and Mr. Lancaster and Mrs. Lancaster also delighted.
Today was truly a joyous and wonderful day!
Adrian didn’t go to the office, but he dialed Dustin Shepherd—
"Starting tomorrow, all company employees will take three days off with pay. As long as work handover is done properly, arrangements can be made."
Dustin was shocked, "Is this because of Joy’s first birthday? Is this a benefit?"
"Yes." Referring to his daughter, Adrian’s handsome face was filled with happiness; after answering, he hung up the call.
With such a good father and good boss, it’s hard for the enterprise not to thrive and for the family not to be happy.
On his child’s birthday, Adrian frequently glanced at his wife, feeling that he was the happiest man.
