Chapter 373 - 372: Damian, Do You Want to Take a Nap Too?

Bella knew there had been a misunderstanding when she heard her say that.

Feeling a bit helpless, Damian spoke up, "Aunt Sienna, Bella is an actress now. She’s earning all this money through her hard work and it’s all clean."

Aunt Sienna was puzzled, "Actress?"

"Like a celebrity," Damian explained patiently, "the kind that acts on television."

"Oh?" Aunt Sienna’s eyes widened in surprise, "Bella, are you a celebrity now?" She only knew that Bella had found a job in another city but was not sure what exactly she was doing.

"Yes," Bella nodded a bit shyly, glanced at Damian, and added, "But I’m just a newcomer, not really a celebrity yet."

"Wow, our Bella is amazing." Aunt Sienna beamed with joy, "A celebrity, that’s really impressive."

Bella felt even more bashful at her praise, but there was a tiny sense of achievement inside her.

"Aunt Sienna, if someone asks, please don’t mention it, I still have no fame yet. It would be quite embarrassing." Bella said.

"I understand." Aunt Sienna nodded quickly, "But Bella, do stars have to lose weight? I see some singers are quite chubby and still very cute, can’t you not diet?"

"I just started my career, it’ll get better over time." Bella said as she placed a piece of soft braised pork shank into Aunt Sienna’s bowl, "Aunt Sienna, don’t worry about me, I will take good care of myself."

"Alright, you never needed us to worry about you since you were little." Aunt Sienna sighed and asked, "Damian, are you familiar with celebrities?"

Damian usually didn’t like to talk at the dining table, he had just picked up some food, preparing to eat, but upon hearing the question, he put it back into his bowl and said, "I can invest in the entertainment industry. If Aunt Sienna has a favorite celebrity, I can get you a couple of autographed photos."

"Can you?" Aunt Sienna asked eagerly, but then felt a bit amused, thinking it was silly for someone her age to be chasing stars.

Bella chuckled, "Aunt Sienna likes Mr. Damien Rowe’s songs."

"Alright, I got it." Damian nodded, for him, getting a couple of autographed photos was just a matter of saying a word and letting his assistant handle it, it wasn’t any trouble at all.

Previously, he hadn’t paid much attention to the entertainment business mainly because he was busy with work and wasn’t interested.

Aunt Sienna was delighted, "Wouldn’t it be a hassle? I heard those celebrities are quite hard to meet."

"It’s not a bother." Damian replied indifferently, "Whichever celebrity’s autograph Aunt Sienna wants, just tell me."

"No, no, just one is enough, one is enough." Aunt Sienna quickly waved her hand. Getting an autograph from a singer she likes would be good enough; one shouldn’t be too greedy.

"I wonder when Mr. Damien Rowe will come to Creston for a concert. If he does, I’ll take you to see him." Bella said, "I’ll definitely let you meet him in person."

"Our Bella is so filial." Aunt Sienna listened happily, her eyes were even starting to redden with joy.

She knew her own physical condition, even if Mr. Damien Rowe really came to Creston for a concert, she probably wouldn’t have the strength to go. But knowing her child had such filial piety was even better than actually taking her to see a concert, making her happy.

The four of them had a joyful lunch together, then played with Ethan for a while, and only when he got sleepy did Aunt Sienna take him for a nap.

Bella stood up and asked, "Damian, do you want to take a nap too?"
