Chapter 1618 - 1600
Chapter 1618 - 1600
The nurse with almond-shaped eyes looked at Chu Ge, gave him a sweet smile, waved her hand, and said, "Are you feeling bored being here all alone? We’re here to keep you company."
As she spoke, another nurse joyfully walked in behind her, "Hey handsome, how old are you this year?"
Chu Ge’s face turned even grimmer. He lightly pressed his lips together, his sharp gaze fixed on them, "Leave!"
"You wouldn’t be worried about your girlfriend getting jealous, would you?"
Girlfriend? What did she mean by that?
A subtle hint of suspicion flashed through Chu Ge’s eyes, then he noticed a faint fragrance in the air, strikingly similar to a kind of sedative aroma he had smelled before.
Instinctively, he held his breath, his gaze turned icy and glacial, piercing those standing before him, "If you don’t leave now, I’ll show no mercy!"
"Maybe we should just leave, we’ve seen the person anyway." A nurse familiar with Chu Ge’s ’glorious past’ cautiously tugged at the front nurse’s sleeve, fearing if Chu Ge got angry, they’d be in trouble.
But the nurse not only refused to leave, she strode forward. "Don’t be so heartless, handsome. With so many beauties around, you could be entertained."
Speaking this, she walked over to the television, lightly pressed the button, then turned to Chu Ge. "Hey handsome, you still haven’t told us how old you are. I bet your girlfriend is still a student, right? Which school are you from?"
Chu Ge was inherently cold by nature, and especially after Wen Zaozao instructed him to adhere to the philosophy that the more you say, the more mistakes you make. So when conversing with others, he opted to speak less, thus deciding to use actions to chase them away.
With that thought, he threw back the covers and got out of bed. The large-sized hospital gown on him looked particularly out of place, a bit small.
The moment he moved, some nurses instinctively stepped back.
The intense aura pressing against those around made the nurse standing in front of the television inexplicably nervous.
"Su Ying, let’s get out of here!"
Some nurses were frightened.
"Are you leaving or not?" Chu Ge’s deep voice was like a satanic whisper from Purgatory, chillingly cold.
Su Ying felt scared too, but her legs seemed rooted to the ground, standing there dumbfounded.
At that moment, the television screen flashed on.
Chu Ge suspiciously stared at the blue glowing television; suddenly, the screen jumped, and a fierce tiger leapt towards him.
In the next instant, "Bang!"
"Sizzle—"
Su Ying was struck dumb, the whole incident took less than a second; she barely had time to react, only feeling a gust of wind brush past her ear, and the next moment, she was pulled aside by a powerful force.
Lifting her head, what did she see?
She actually saw Chu Ge punch through the television... shattered!!!
She had almost disbelieved the rumor that he could break someone’s wrist with his bare hands, but now... how could this be human?
The other nurses were also petrified, torn between heartache over the destruction of public property and shrieking to escape.
Su Ying belatedly panicked, glancing back several times as she swiftly fled the ward.
Inside the ward, silence returned.
Just then, Chu Ge saw the tiger charging at him, instinctively threw a punch, resulting in attacking nothing but smashing that black heap instead.
At this moment, Chu Ge had only two questions: One, where did the tiger go? Two, this black heap is really fragile.
...
Wen Zaozao had just stepped out of the elevator when she saw workers on the floor’s corridor mopping up water stains that hadn’t dried yet.
"Lady Wen, you’ve finally returned!" A nurse happened to be coming out of the ward and upon seeing Wen Zaozao, looked as if she’d found a savior.
"What happened?" Wen Zaozao asked, but upon seeing the water stains on the ground, she already suspected part of the reason.
"You better go and check, if you don’t come back soon, your boyfriend might dismantle our hospital!"
Inside the ward, Chu Ge appeared nonchalant sitting on the hospital bed, though his expression was somewhat foul.
The mess on the ground had been cleaned up.
Wen Zaozao rubbed her nose, curiously asking, "What happened?"
Chu Ge cast her a indifferent glance, pressed his lips together, not speaking.
The nurse nearby quickly chipped in, "He destroyed our restroom."
"And punched through our television," another nurse hurriedly added.
While saying this, she gave Chu Ge a peculiar look, as if to say, your boyfriend is a nerve-racking powerhouse.
Wen Zaozao paused, her gaze falling on the glaring hole in the wall-mounted LCD TV, then she approached the restroom door and glanced inside, akin to a disaster scene, utterly dreadful.
The restroom’s bathtub was shattered, the faucet was inexplicably smashed into pieces, half of the showerhead was broken, water droplets still clinging to it, continually trickling down.
There were remnants of shredded toilet paper on the floor, along with a heap of toiletries.
Wen Zaozao awkwardly scratched her head, apologetically looking at the nurse, smiling, "Your hospital should have maintenance, right?"
The nurse presented a face of grievance; Lady Wen, are you joking?
...
The Eighth Space-Time was bustling; similarly, this dimension was thrown into chaos.
Upon receiving Mu Yunfan’s call, Xia Xuan hurriedly drove to Nangong Yunxi’s villa.
He hastily got out of the car, nearly sprinting inside the villa. As he reached the entrance, he almost bumped into Yunxi.
Yunxi, holding a stack of documents, curiously eyed Xia Xuan, "Mr. Xia Xuan, why are you in such a rush? Has something happened?"
Xia Xuan shook his head, not having time to speak with Yunxi, he directly pushed him aside and stepped in.
"Yunxi, something’s gone wrong!"
Nangong Yunxi was currently standing by the balcony, quietly admiring the flowers he had just bought; the yellow buds were strikingly lovely under the sunlight.
"Yunxi, it’s bad. Mu Yunfan just called, saying the Third Time-Space Mirror has issues!"
Xia Xuan gasped as he spoke.
Nangong Yunxi turned calmly, his eyebrows arched as he regarded Xia Xuan, "What do you mean? Isn’t the Third Time-Space Mirror on his hillside? What issues could arise?"
Xia Xuan let out a heavy sigh, speaking somewhat agitatedly, "Who knows what’s exactly wrong? He suddenly called to say an anomaly has appeared in the sky, and when he arrived at the hillside, there was a crack on the Third Time-Space Mirror."
Although Nangong Yunxi remained composed, upon hearing Xia Xuan’s words, his brows furrowed deeply. He asked, "What did you say?"
Xia Xuan handed his phone to Nangong Yunxi and added, "Here’s the video Mu Yunfan sent, the footage is very clear; the Eighth Space-Time has emerged."
The appearance of the Eighth Space-Time meant seven space-times already within his utmost control, if another emerged, it would completely fall out of his control.
