Chapter 404 - 353: Domain Level Giant Gladiatorial Tournament

Chapter 404 - 353: Domain Level Giant Gladiatorial Tournament

It was an all-or-nothing strike, but also one that left him wide open.

A glint flashed in Kado’s eyes.

’Now’s my chance!’

Without the slightest hesitation, he advanced instead of retreating.

He ducked low, slipping nimbly as a cat into Tag’s wide-open guard and dodging the fatal punch.

At the same time, his right foot shot out like an iron hook, precisely catching Tag’s advancing ankle.

His left hand followed the momentum, pressing down on Tag’s shoulder with a sharp tug!

THUD!

Tag’s massive body lost its balance once again. Caught between his own immense forward momentum and the combined force of Kado’s trip and pull, he fell forward irrevocably.

This time, Tag slammed solidly onto the ground.

BOOM!

The ground shook again.

Tag struggled to get up, but Kado had already taken a step forward, his massive knee pinning the back of Tag’s neck.

A force as heavy as a mountain pressed down, immobilizing Tag.

"I... I give up..."

The halting words, filled with reluctance, escaped from Tag’s mouth.

The refereeing Giant Guard froze for a moment before reacting, raising his hand high and announcing loudly.

"First match! The winner is..."

"The Wandering Giant, Kado!"

After a brief silence, the square erupted with thunderous cheers and roars.

This time, Kado had used his own Power to win the acknowledgment and respect of all the Giants present.

Kado released his knee, stood up, and extended a hand to Tag, who was still on the ground.

Tag hesitated for a moment but ultimately took Kado’s hand and let himself be pulled to his feet.

He looked at Kado with a complex expression. His previous ferocity and arrogance were gone, replaced by a trace of defeat and awe.

"You’re strong."

Tag said in a low, rumbling voice.

Kado just nodded without a word and turned to walk back to Raylo’s side.

"Sir."

He grinned, revealing a set of white teeth.

"Well done."

Raylo patted his arm in praise.

The duels continued.

Soon, the referee’s roar echoed across the square once again.

"Next match! Ug versus Gron!"

Gron was an extremely burly fellow, his gnarled muscles like rocks. Every step he took made the ground tremble slightly.

He looked at Ug, a contemptuous sneer on his face.

"Ug, you weakling, you actually dare to get in the ring? I make you cry like a baby every time, and this time will be no different!"

Gron’s loud taunt drew a wave of derisive laughter from the sidelines.

Ug’s face flushed red, his fists cracking as he clenched them.

Gron was his old rival. The two had been fighting since they were young, and Ug had never won a single time.

Every time, he was completely suppressed by Gron’s brute strength, unable to fight back.

He took a deep breath and looked back toward the high platform where Raylo was.

Kado gave him a firm nod.

"Remember what I taught you! Don’t go head-to-head with him. Attack his lower body!"

Ug’s heart settled.

He recalled what Kado had taught him over the past few days: the techniques for sidestepping, shuffling his feet, and striking at joints.

"Begin!"

At the referee’s command, Gron roared and charged forward, his huge fist whistling through the air as it aimed straight for Ug’s face. It was a move he had used with unfailing success; in the past, Ug had no choice but to block it head-on.

But not this time.

He remembered Kado’s demonstration. He clumsily but determinedly took a large step to his left, narrowly dodging the heavy punch.

Gron froze, clearly not expecting Ug to be able to dodge.

"A little improvement, but it’s useless!"

Gron’s attacks grew more frenzied, his fists and feet falling like rain.

Ug was like a small boat in a raging storm, barely holding on and constantly in peril.

He mimicked Kado’s movements, dodging and blocking. Though his actions were stiff and unpracticed, leaving him looking pathetic and nearly getting hit several times, he ultimately endured.

The Giants on the sidelines watched in amazement, clicking their tongues.

"Hey, it’s like Ug is a completely different person today."

"Yeah, to think he can last this long against Gron."

A slight smile touched the corners of Raylo’s mouth on the high platform.

’Ug may not be as talented as Kado, but his diligence makes up for it.’

’Over the past few days, he’s drilled Kado’s techniques by rote. Even though he applies them rigidly and without flexibility, it’s barely enough to deal with an opponent like Gron who only understands brute force.’

In the ring, Gron’s breathing grew heavy and ragged as his prolonged assault failed to land. His frustration mounted.

"You cowardly rat, always hiding and dodging!"

He roared in anger, unleashing a wide, sweeping kick intended to knock Ug off his feet.

’Now’s my chance!’

A glint of light flashed in Ug’s eyes.

’The opening from that move is huge.’

Instead of retreating, he suddenly ducked forward. The instant the sweeping kick passed over his head, he slammed his entire body into Gron’s chest.

At the same time, mimicking Kado’s earlier move, his right leg hooked forcefully around Gron’s supporting left ankle.

"What?"

Gron’s face fell in shock, his stance suddenly unstable.

Ug used all his strength to slam his shoulder hard into Gron’s chest.

THUD!

Gron’s enormous body lost its balance, and he cried out as he toppled backward.

Ug seized the opportunity, pouncing like a starving tiger and using all his might to pin him down.

Then, his millstone-sized fists began to rain down viciously on Gron’s face.

"I give up! I give up!"

Gron struggled desperately, but he was pinned and couldn’t move. After taking several heavy punches to the face, he could only shout out in humiliation.

The referee raised his hand high.

"The winner is Ug!"

The entire square erupted in fervent cheers.

"I won! I won! Hahaha!"

Ug leaped up from the ground, dancing with excitement. He rushed to the foot of the high platform, grabbed Kado who was walking down, and lifted him high into the air, spinning around several times on the spot.

Kado grew a little dizzy from the spinning, but seeing the ecstatic joy on Ug’s face, he also broke into a wide, good-natured smile.

Raylo watched this scene, a smile in his eyes as well.

’The power of a good example is limitless.’

’Kado hasn’t just gotten stronger himself; he’s also starting to change the entire Wandering Giant Tribe.’

In the following quarterfinals, Ug’s luck seemed to have run out.

He drew a powerful tribal Warrior, an opponent whose Power and combat experience were far beyond Gron’s.

Although Ug fought with all his might, using every technique he had learned, he was ultimately knocked out of the ring with a single punch after holding on for a dozen or so exchanges.

However, he was defeated but not disgraced.

As he left the ring, he was met with the respectful gazes and encouraging pats of his fellow tribesmen.

Kado, on the other hand, relied on his increasingly refined techniques to once again defeat his opponent cleanly, successfully advancing to the semi-finals.

At this point, only the four strongest Giants remained in the arena.

The atmosphere for the semi-finals grew heavy.

Kado’s opponent was the champion from the Mountain Rock Tribe, a Giant named Boer.

When Boer stepped into the ring, a collective gasp swept through the square.

He was enormous.

An ordinary Giant stood around fifteen meters tall, but Boer was over twenty meters, like a small, moving mountain.

His muscles had a rocky, gray-black color, and his arms hung so low they almost touched his knees. His eyes were cold and serene, like eternally frozen ice.

More importantly, the aura of the Domain he radiated was dense and heavy, far surpassing any opponent Kado had faced before.

Domain Level Peak!

Raylo’s expression also turned serious.

’This is a true powerhouse. His Power, technique, and experience have all reached their Peak. He has almost no weaknesses.’

"Begin!"

Boer didn’t roar and charge like the other Giants.

He just stood there quietly, watching Kado, and an invisible pressure enveloped the entire arena.

Kado was the first to move.

His figure moved like lightning, staying low to the ground as he rapidly closed the distance, trying to find an opening by circling his opponent as he had before.

However, Boer merely shifted his body slightly and raised one of his massive arms.

WHOOSH!

Kado’s vision went dark as a gigantic palm, like a black cloud, slapped down with an unstoppable gale.

The palm strike seemed slow, yet it sealed off all of Kado’s escape routes.
