It turns out she’s preparing to register her marriage with Chu Changxing. This trip is to formally visit the future parents-in-law and notify them about their marriage registration.

"That’s wonderful. I was worried that if your elder sister didn’t find someone else, you guys would have to rely on her in the future!" Mother Cheng showed a bit of pettiness.

"Mom, she has a son!" Cheng Su said, both amused and a bit helpless.

"That’s not the same." Mother Cheng glared at her. "Having a man around is still better. A son has his own world."

Cheng Su shook her head, choosing not to argue, and went back to her work.
